A historically documented fishermen´s house was built by the fisherman Jiří Bolo in 1737 as a “tiny house on the banks of the river Elbe”. In the middle of the 16th century, a Divišov fishermen´s house is reminded there.
According to the historical legend, Elizabeth of Bohemia got into the house by a ferry which transported her there across the river. In 1310, she fled from Prague to Nymburk to escape machinations of her brother-in-law, Henry of Bohemia. The current appearance of the house is from the beginning of the 20th century.
